Luis San Vicente has been keen on drawing since his childhood, when he would “scratch” notebooks, papers, desks and any surface that would take ink or pencil marks. He studied graphic communication design at UAM. He worked for almost 20 years as a coordinator in the art department of the Reforma newspaper in Mexico City. He has illustrated more than 70 children’s books for publishers in Mexico, the United States, Spain, Slovakia, Argentina, Croatia, Poland, Colombia and Venezuela.
